The interface below yields Virginia localities' floodplain administrators and Community Rating System (CRS) coordinators. It also displays whether or not communities participate in NFIP or the CRS as well as their Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) community identification number (CID).
Use the Virginia Flood Risk Information System (VFRIS) to see a community's mapped flood zones and whether or not a property is in a special flood hazard area.
Filter results by using the dropdown menus. If a community name is not selected along with a community type, all communities with that type will be listed.
If you see an error or encounter problems, contact Floodplain Management at FloodplainMgmt@dcr.virginia.gov.
