Anywhere it can rain, it can flood. To ensure Virginia is increasing flood resilience across the commonwealth, the Department of Conservation and Recreation is leading the creation of a statewide Virginia Flood Protection Master Plan.
To ensure that this plan includes all Virginians, we need to hear from you and your community. With this in mind, DCR is developing a Community Outreach and Engagement Plan that will inform and shape the creation of the Virginia Flood Protection Master Plan.
We invite the public to participate in every step of the process to create a plan that serves the unique needs of the commonwealth. This requires intentional process building that includes everyone.
