The Office of Environmental education aims to collaboratively engage organizations to support non-formal and formal educators in order to cultivate environmentally literate k-12 graduates across the state of Virginia.

Join us for a 3 day/2 night session hosted in partnership with the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts with the purpose of bringing awareness and resources to educators about the importance of incorporating environmental education into art education. Come meet more members of the art community, see some breathtaking examples of art and learn with us. All accepted applicants will be expected to plan and implement an environmental arts project in their class or school with financial support from VA DCR. Only k-12 practicing educators from public, private, independent, or home school divisions are eligible to apply.
June 25 -27, 2025 in Richmond, VA
Applications will be accepted through April 10, 2025. Accepted participants will be notified by April 15, 2025.
