Hourly Rate: $12.85 per hour
Seeking self-motivated and outgoing individual(s) needed to work in our Contact Station and/or Park Office. Provide information regarding state park amenities and services and other local attractions. Collect appropriate fees and register camping guests. Provide accurate and detailed information on the campsite reservation procedures/information, park fees, directions, pricing, annual passes, trails information, park educational programs and local area information.
Required to operate a computer, cash register, telephone, and handheld radio. May be required to perform other park related duties during emergencies or on a non-recurrent basis.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be able to count money, perform daily register transactions, reconcile register, and complete daily cash management paperwork. Must be able to work well with other staff and with park guests in a team environment. Must be willing to work shift work, weekends and holidays.
Additional Considerations:
Prior experience in customer service, park setting, or related field is desirable, but not required. General knowledge of park operations and local attractions preferred.
Special Requirements:
A valid State Driver's License is required to operate a state vehicle or if operating a personal vehicle while conducting business on behalf of the agency.
