Tesla Automotive’s Destination Charging program is providing two Tesla brand 80-amp chargers and one universal 40-amp charging station. The cost of the project is around $7,375.
If the charging station at First Landing is successful, Tesla may build addition charging stations in other Virginia State Parks.
Virginia State Parks manages 37 parks across Virginia, and three in development. More than 10 million guests visit Virginia State Parks annually, and nearly a million visit First Landing State Park each year.
