Gather around the fire with your fellow campers for s'mores and discovery. Naturalist and educator Roger Pinholster will guide us as we learn all about the amazing and ancient world of rocks.
This is a hands-on rocking experience where you'll learn how to recognize rocks commonly found in Virginia, determine the hardness of different rocks, and discover the difference between a rock, a mineral, a gem, an ore, and a metal.
