Did you know in pre-revolutionary Virginia, most clothing and textiles were imported from Europe and Asia. By the time of the revolution it became patriotic to produce fabric and create clothing and furnishings domestically. We will show you the process of carding, spinning, knitting and weaving wool. Afterwards children and adults are welcome to try their hand at this fascinating craft.
