Grab your inner-tube and come experience the beautiful James River on a guided tubing tour. Come ready to get wet and soak up the summer vibes. The trip includes interpretations of wildlife and the history of the many cultures have depended on the river. Conditions permitting, the tour will start at Launch A and end at Launch C or Maidens Landing. We'll shuttle you to your car at the end of our floating journey. The boat launches can be muddy and slippery, so be prepared!

Participant Expectations:
- B.Y.O.T. = Bring your own tube! We recommend a tube such as this one.
- Bring plenty of water and snacks in a waterproof bag or doubled-up plastic freezer bags. No alcohol allowed.
- You'll be in the water and sun for several hours. We recommend wearing sunscreen, sunglasses, a wide-brimmed hat, and a breathable light-colored long-sleeve shirt. Wear bathing-suit bottoms.
- Wear closed-toe shoes such as old sneakers. You will walk along the bottom of the river occasionally.
- Don't bring anything you can't risk getting wet.
- Bring a dry change of clothes and towel to leave in your car.
- Children must be at least 10 years old and accompanied by an adult.
