Hiring Rate: $16.00 per hour
Lake Anna State Park is seeking applications for the Office Assistant position! The Office Assistant provides information on reservation procedures/information, park fees, including amenities throughout the park, and provides clear and accurate information on park interpretive programs and local area attractions. This position also performs clerical duties such as answering telephones, and copying and typing correspondence. Other duties include collecting fees, selling merchandise, operating a POS/cash register, and checking in park guests.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be at least 16 years old and have reliable transportation. Current Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED Certification (or be willing to obtain by start date) required. Excellent interpersonal skills needed to work well with other staff and park guests in a team environment. Availability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays from Memorial Day through Labor Day is required.
Additional Consideration
Previous office administrative experience.
Special Requirements
Wage/seasonal positions are not eligible for benefits and are limited to 1500 hours from May 1 to April 30.
A valid State Driver's License is required to operate a state vehicle or if operating a personal vehicle while conducting business on behalf of the agency.
