Hiring Rate: $15.00 per hour
Lake Anna State Park is accepting applications for the Food Service Ranger position. Duties include preparing/serving food; washing dishes; and keeping the kitchen area and equipment clean and operable. This position will also perform upkeep of the concession exterior to include sweeping the deck, cleaning tables, and removing trash and litter. The Food Service Ranger will also be responsible for renting boats, maintaining the boat rental log, and ensuring the highest possible level of customer service is maintained at all times.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of basic math and able to legibly complete daily paperwork. Reliable transportation required. Ability to observe and practice safe food handling practices per ServSafe guidelines. Position requires standing, bending and working in a hot, fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal skills required to work well with other staff and park guests. Must be available to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays. Memorial Day, July Fourth, and Labor Day are mandatory workdays.

Previous food service experience.

A valid State Driver's License is required to operate a state vehicle or if operating a personal vehicle while conducting business on behalf of the agency.
