DCR is looking for talented people to fill positions listed below. Unless stated otherwise, you must complete and submit an electronic state application by the job announcement's close date.
Generally applications must be made through the RMS (electronic state application). We will, however, accept paper applications for some state park slots. Be sure to refer to the individual recruitment for specific requirements.
Certain positions require a criminal background check, a conflict of interest financial statement or both. Law-enforcement positions require a fingerprint-based FBI investigation. DCR is an EEO/AA/ADA Employer.

Hiring Rate: $13.55 - $15.00 per hour
Sky Meadows State Park is currently seeking a responsible, goal-oriented individual who can work as part of a team, take direction from others, and is capable of working unsupervised. This position focuses on the daily upkeep of park facilities, grounds, and positive interaction with a diverse public. Duties include, but are not limited to landscaping, trash removal, and restroom and facilities cleaning. Perform basic upkeep and maintenance of equipment and vehicles; report repair needs as required to supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a general knowledge of basic grounds care and use of hand tools, power tools, and cleaning supplies. Must be willing to work various shifts, occasionally including weekends, holidays, and closing shifts. Must be 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation to and from work.
Additional Considerations:
Knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, heavy equipment usage, and masonry is not necessary but preferred.
Special Requirements:
A valid State Driver's License is required to operate a state vehicle or if operating a personal vehicle while conducting business on behalf of the agency.
