Tuliptree (Liriodendron tulipifera), sweet birch (Betula lenta var. lenta), mountain-laurel (Kalmia latifolia), and hay-scented fern (Dennstaedtia punctilobula) in a mature acidic cove forest along Laurel Prong in Madison County, Shenandoah National Park.
