Piedmont Acidic Oak - Hickory Forest – CEGL008475

A mature, white oak (Quercus alba)-dominated acidic oak-hickory forest on slope along Biscuit Run, south of Charlottesville, Albemarle County.  The herb layer consists primarily of woody seedlings.
