Coastal Plain dry calcareous forest of chinquapin oak (Quercus muehlenbergii), eastern redcedar (Juniperus virginiana), and eastern redbud (Cercis canadensis var. canadensis).  On short, shell-laden slope bordering King Creek near its confluence with the York River, York County.  Colonial National Historical Park.
