Staff and volunteers of High Bridge Trail State Park can offer a wide variety of programming that can fulfill some requirements for earning Girl Scout badges. Examples include programming about native insects, tree identification, primitive arts survival skills, stewardship opportunities, programs about our watershed, and how our local history ties into national history. We encourage troop representatives to contact our park directly for details.

We can customize programs to meet your troop's needs as far as subjects, content, and times for the dates of September 8-10. You can email us at highbridgetrail@dcr.virginia.gov, or call (434) 315-0457 to set up your special programming. We can combine several troops into programs, but requests for program times will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis.
