Owl Pellet Dissection

Come and learn about some of our native owl species while you dissect a great horned owl pellet.  Hoot have thought reconstructing skeletons could be so cool?  

Please pay in advance at the Visitor Center. Please show your receipt to the interpreter leading the program. This program only has 6 participant slots available.  Families, siblings, or groups are encouraged to share 1 pellet.

Participants will receive multiple worksheets for identification of prey as well as a small paper bag to keep findings from pellet should they wish to take them home.

Part of our Earth Day celebration.
