The Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park will celebrate its History/Culture Day with a special presentation from local author and Lee County native Amy Clark.
Amy is a professor of Communication Studies and co-director of the Center for Appalachian Studies at UVA’s College at Wise. Amy will be speaking about the history of Appalachian dialects at this special event.
Admission is free. Participants must register before Friday, June 10. To register, or for more information, please call the park at 276-523-1322.
The park will comply with the state Covid 19 regulations in place at the time the program is offered.
