Occoneechee Adventure Days are here!

This year we will be offering special programs on three different Saturdays in July (8th, 15th, 29th). These programs include: a Museum Scavenger Hunt, where you will explore the rich cultural history of Occoneechee State Park, a Geocaching Nature Hike where you can learn the fundamentals of the worldwide sport of Geocaching, Lets Go Fishing where you will have the opportunity to explore beneath the surface as you learn to fish alongside a ranger, and the Evening Campfire and “Vittles” where we will have an Occoneechee fire building challenge and then learn to cook some unique meals.

You’re invited to participate in some or all of the activities on the days of your choice. Those participating in all of the programs will be well on their way to achieve their very own Junior Ranger Badge. All materials and equipment will be provided for each of the events. Please dress for the weather and bring your own water bottles.
