Campfire Fun and the Great Bug Hunt

Location of Occoneechee State Park in Virginia

Where

Occoneechee State Park, 1192 Occoneechee Park Rd., Clarksville, VA 23927.
Posseclay Interpretive Shelter

When

Aug. 26, 2023. 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Test your survival skills by learning to build a fire without a match or lighter! Once the fire is built, let's enjoy it by making banana boats and s'mores. We'll finish the evening with a good, old-fashioned nighttime bug hunt. You'll be shocked at what a bright light and white sheet will attract. Meet at the Posselclay Interpretive Shelter located just beyond the playground in the picnic area.
