Join Hungry Mother State Park and Anytime Fitness in honoring our heroes after Memorial Day and Celebrate National Trails Day with a special "Hike for Heroes" event. Lace up your boots and join us for a scenic hike through Hungry Mother State Park as we commemorate and celebrate our veterans. Join an interpreter on one of our most private and beautiful trails. Learn about the park's history and about some of the unique wildlife that calls our region home as you experience this serene trail. Don't miss this opportunity to connect, reflect, and honor our nation's heroes.

We recommend wearing closed-toe and sturdy shoes fit for hiking and bringing water to drink. The hike will take roughly three hours and will cover some steep elevation changes and slightly rocky terrain.

The program is free, but donations for the local chapter of the VFW will be collected by Anytime Fitness as part of our partnership.
