Girl Scouts Love State Parks 2024 focuses on "leading the way caring for your parks", and together with Pick Up America, "fostering a clean environment for everyone to enjoy." At Virginia State Parks we follow the Seven Principles of Leave No Trace to minimize the impact we have upon the natural world and Belle Isle State Park also recycles. Join us to hear about LNT principles and participate in our recycling relay followed by trash pick-up at our Picnic Area so you too can be a good steward of our shared natural resources.

This event is also open to the public. Trash bags, gloves and a limited number of trash grabbers will be provided. Dress for the weather, bring your bug spray and reusable water bottle.
