Learn about mushrooms and all those mysterious things that you see in the woods and in your lawns, that might be mushrooms, or might not. This will be a journey through the natural world and into the depths beneath the soil, leaf litter, and bark, to a vast and expansive universe of life that is just below the surface our daily lives. Participants will leave with a greater understanding of the importance of natural life cycles and how to identify mushrooms and more.

The Prowl the Powell monthly nature series will be held rain or shine. Participants are asked to wear appropriate clothing for the weather and comfortable walking shoes. Binoculars are encouraged but not required. Registration is not required for this program.
