Explore the mighty James River via canoe with your very own interpretive guide! The interpretive guide will cover topics such as the history of the river, its aquatic inhabitants, and the local flora and fauna that call it home. Meet at Canoe Landing in the park and be transported to the Bent Creek boat ramp where you will paddle on a gentle six-mile trip. Closed-toe shoes that can get wet are required. Space is limited to ten people per trip, so please sign up early by calling the Park Office at (434) 933-4355.
