Have you ever wanted to see one of the park’s many reptile residents up close? Well now you can from the comfort of your campsite! The Rangers will be driving around the campsites with one of our Animal Ambassadors to do short, 5 minute animal spotlight presentations for interested parties, just waive us down to see who will be featured that day. PLEASE NOTE: If you are not camping here, you can meet the Rangers near the Main Visitor Center at 5:00 where they will be starting the program to get a look at the animals.

A park ranger holds a diamondback terrapin turtle in their hands. The terrapin has light gray skin with dark flecks and a dark brown shell.
