Sept. 21, 2024. 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Start your weekend with fresh air, beautiful scenery, comradery, and a feeling of accomplishment. Volunteer tasks include maintenance of the park's eleven-mile trail system (lopping, weed eating, improving drainage, etc.) along with an occasional project involving the farm, native gardens, or other area of the park.

We'll provide the tools and training on how to use them. Please bring work gloves if you have them, wear closed toed shoes, and bring water. Children ages 14 and older are welcome to attend with a parent or guardian. Please email sweetrunvolunteer@dcr.virginia.gov with any questions.
