Craftily sculpt a towering sandcastle, a mermaid, a turtle, your dog, or any other creature, character, or building you can think of to win this sand sculpture contest in honor of Sandcastle Day. All skill levels are encouraged to participate. Winners will be chosen for the following categories: most impressive, most creative, and most fun. 

The Rules: Sculptures can be created by individuals or groups. Simple sand molds and hands are acceptable sculpting tools. This contest is meant to be fun; good sportsmanship is required. Sculpting will be open beginning at 11 a.m. and judging will take place at 1 p.m. to allow a maximum of two hours sculpting.

Parks are for everyone. This is an accessible program open to all people. Please alert park staff to any special accommodations you or your group may need by texting/calling 434-394-0767.
