Twilight is the perfect time to search for salamanders. Come to the Discovery Center to "hunt" for these elusive amphibians. Be prepared to get your feet wet. Closed-toe shoes are required. This program is conducted in accordance with Virginia state law; park staff possess the proper permits and training to briefly handle wildlife.
