Hiring Rate: $14.00 per hour
Bear Creek Lake State Park is accepting applications for the Housekeeping Ranger position. The primary focus of this position is to provide safe, prompt, and efficient cleaning of guest cabins, restrooms, meeting facilities, campground bathhouses, and other park structures. We will provide training on how to use cleaning tools and chemicals in a safe manner, including the proper use of personal protective equipment. Cabins and other park facilities must be cleaned to a high standard within the prescribed time frame. Work is usually fast-paced and physically demanding, including bending down and reaching up frequently. This position will be responsible for efficient turnover of overnight facilities before check-in time and will require the ability to work independently. The Housekeeping Ranger will also be responsible for inventorying cleaning supplies to ensure they are available for the next guest and performs the light maintenance and cleaning tasks necessary to operate state park facilities.

Wage/seasonal positions are not eligible for benefits and are limited to 1500 hours from May 1 to April 30.
A valid State Driver's License is required to operate a state vehicle or if operating a personal vehicle while conducting business on behalf of the agency.
