DCR is looking for talented people to fill positions listed below. Unless stated otherwise, you must complete and submit an electronic state application by the job announcement's close date.
Generally applications must be made through the RMS (electronic state application). We will, however, accept paper applications (Word) for some state park slots. Be sure to refer to the individual recruitment for specific requirements.

Hiring Range: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Kiptopeke State Park is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic applicant to fill the Housekeeping Supervisor position. This position will supervise and assist in the proper and prompt cleaning of cabins, restrooms, campground bathhouses, and other park structures. This position will be responsible for the inventorying of cleaning and cabin supplies, scheduling of housekeeping staff, and training of housekeeping staff in cleaning and maintenance standards as well as various safety standards. The Housekeeping Supervisor will perform light maintenance tasks necessary to operate state park facilities. May be required to perform other park-related duties during emergencies or on a non-recurrent basis.

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. There are no health benefits or paid vacation leave associated with the job.
This position requires standing, bending, and walking.
Must be willing to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. Employees may be required to perform other park related duties during emergencies or on a non-recurrent basis. Employees are limited to working no more than 1500 hours in 12 months from May 1 to April 30.
A valid State Driver's License is required to operate a state vehicle or if operating a personal vehicle while conducting business on behalf of the agency.
Selected candidate(s) will need to complete the I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification Form. DCR participates in E-Verify.
