Generally applications must be made through the RMS (electronic state application). We will, however, accept paper applications for some state park slots. Be sure to refer to the individual recruitment for specific requirements.

Hiring rate: $16.00 per hour
Douthat State Park is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic applicant to fill the Housekeeping Lead position. This position will assist in the proper and prompt cleaning of cabins, restrooms, campground bathhouses, and other park structures. This position will be responsible for the inventorying of cleaning and cabin supplies. The Housekeeping Lead will coordinate daily task with Housekeeping Manager. The Housekeeping Lead will assist with training other housekeeping staff to ensure quality of housekeeping services. This job will require conducting cabin inspection. May be required to perform other park-related duties during emergencies or on a non-recurrent basis.

Special Requirements:
A valid State Driver's License is required to operate a state vehicle or if operating a personal vehicle while conducting business on behalf of the agency.
Selected candidate(s) will need to complete the I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification Form. DCR participates in E-Verify.
Wage/seasonal positions are not eligible for benefits and are limited to 1,500 hours from May 1 to April 30.
