Lake Anna State Park is accepting applications for the Contact Ranger position!
The Contact Ranger is responsible for providing information regarding state park services and other local attractions to park guests. This position provides primary coverage at the parks contact station, and park office, if necessary; collects appropriate fees and registers overnight and day-use rentals; and operates a computer, point-of-sale system, multi-line phone system and handheld radio.
This position also provides accurate and detailed information on the park fees, directions, pricing, annual passes, trail information, park interpretive programs, and local area information; performs daily cleaning of contact station/office area; ensures the work area is well stocked and maintained on a daily basis; maintains accurate and neat filing and storage; performs clerical duties such as answering telephones, copying, various projects; and performs other duties as assigned.

Wage/seasonal positions are not eligible for benefits and are limited to 1500 hours from May 1 to April 30. A valid State Driver's License is required to operate a state vehicle or if operating a personal vehicle while conducting business on behalf of the agency.
