Come enjoy a natural phenomenon on Monday, April 8th that we won't see again in the contiguous United States for another 20 years! For us here in Virginia, it will be a partial eclipse with between 78%- 89% of the sun obscured. If you’ve never seen a total solar eclipse before, put it on your bucket list and mark the date. It is truly a breath-taking sight. You won’t regret traveling to see the Sun’s corona, while you stand in the shadow of the moon.

New River Trail State Park will have eclipse glasses available for sale for $1 (plus tax). No registration is required for the general public. We will have a limited number of glasses for sale. If you have leftover glasses from the 2017 Eclipse (or previous eclipse events), DO NOT USE THEM! The film in the glasses has a three-year lifespan; they are now a safety hazard that could damage your eyes.
