Recreate Responsibly
We’re excited to see you, but your safety is our No. 1 priority. Here are a few things to know to help promote a safe visit to our parks.
Know Before You Go:
Stay up-to-date on information about available recreation opportunities and closures. Check the website of the park you intend to visit for any alerts.
Plan Ahead:
Download your park’s trail guide before you leave home. Be prepared with water, snacks and personal hygiene supplies.
Play It Safe:
Choose low-risk activities to reduce your risk of injury. Know your limits and educate yourself before trying something new.
Leave No Trace:
Pack out your trash. Stay on established trails. Respect wildlife. Be considerate of others. Learn more about Leave No Trace.
Build an Inclusive Outdoors:
Be an active part of making the outdoors safe and welcoming for all identities and abilities.
Practice Physical Distancing:
While on trails, alert others of your presence and step aside to let others pass at a safe distance.
Remember, these are your parks and we’re glad to see you enjoy them. Help us keep all our guests and
staff safe by following these guidelines.
