African Americas have been an active part of the Chesapeake Bay's seafood industry from processing houses to skipjack captains.  Take a ranger guided walk along the shoreline and see the world of enslaved and free "blackjack" watermen, independent working waterfronts, profitable heydays and sharp declines.  Discover how some African Americans continue to keep this important facet of black history alive.
