Come out to Powhatan State Park and help us by removing trash from the river bank, in an effort to keep our waterways as clean as possible. This program will be completely self-guided and will not require registration. We will be offering trash bags on the day of the event at the park office, which can be used for collecting trash items. We ask that all bags be left at the top of any canoe launch within the park for easy collection by park staff up to 4:00 p.m. Please remember to be safe and pay close attention to river conditions leading up to and on the day of the event. If additional information is required please call the park office during posted business hours at (804) 598-7148.
