Wondering where to take your first steps to become a hiker? Hungry Mother boasts around 18 miles of trails and that's without even mentioning other opportunities in south western Virginia. Join Hungry Mother State Park’s brand new hiking club and meet up with other individuals who share an interest in experiencing the outdoors and all the beautiful trails our park and the area have to offer. Opportunities include regular hikes in the park and the area at large, guided interpretive hikes, and volunteer hikes that allow for us to give back to the environment.
