Learn how you can be an integral part of the exciting future of our park!
- Come out and talk to staff and other volunteers.
- Meet Friends Group members, learn how they help our park and why they need you.
- Hear about Virginia State Parks Volunteer Program perks and benefits.
- Park projects and opportunities will be discussed.
Refreshments will be served. There will be several prize drawings for Powhatan gifts and apparel. This event has optional participation in volunteer projects at the historic cemetery and/or a tree craft activity at the picnic shelter.
Free parking for attendees. Rain date is Sunday, November 13th, 1 p.m.-4 p.m.
