Reserve a Ranger is a flexible program offered to individuals, families, or groups that have an interest in the great outdoors. On the posted days a ranger will be available during the published time slot for customized programming. We offer history hikes or talks, nature crafts, guided bike rides, beginner fishing programs, wildlife habitat programs, or nearly any kind of program that is applicable to our natural or historical resources. The program can be at any of our accesses along our park, including Elam, Prospect, Tuggle, River Road, Camp Paradise, and Rice.

This program is available on a first come, first serve basis. Parking fees apply at all times. Depending on the program chosen, a separate fee might apply as well. To reserve a ranger or for more information, call (434) 838-0190 or email highbridgetrail@dcr.virginia.gov.
