Did you know there was once a thriving "Boom" Town located where our lake is today? Our Ranger led program tells all about the "missing town" and its rowdy residents. Learn how moonshining put the boom in "boom town"!

The presentation will be followed by a guided hike on our Iron Mine and Upper Stuart's Knob Trails. This trail system is about 2 miles, and has steep portions, but offers spectacular views of Fairy Stone Lake.
