Join astronomers from the Richmond Astronomical Society for Saturday Under the Stars! Learn about the stars, constellations, and planets visible in the night sky. Telescopes will be set up adjacent to the parking area, but please feel free to bring your own telescope or binoculars to get assistance from experienced astronomers. When entering or leaving the parking lot area, please try to use minimal lighting and use flashlights with red or amber-colored light in order to preserve the night vision of our visitors. If you don't have a red flashlight, our astronomers will give you a red filter for your light. Visitors are welcome to bring comfortable chairs or blankets to lean back and enjoy an expansive view of the sky.
