Open fires are prohibited throughout the park from midnight to 4 p.m., beginning Feb. 15 through April 30, per the 4 p.m. Burning Law. This includes wood and charcoal. Gas is permissible. Campground fires are allowed during the restricted time if a camp host is on duty and signage to that effect is posted in the campground. Failure to observe the 4 p.m. Burning Law can result in a fine. Contact the Park Office for additional information.

Easter ROCKS at Westmoreland! Are you ready to take full advantage of this Easter/Spring break season? Hit the trails here to savor the season’s warmer weather and witness the beautiful blooms of spring! As you hike, keep your eyes peeled - retrieve one of the Easter-painted rocks WE’ve hidden and return it to the visitor center for YOUR free sticker!

Sticker exchange open during visitor center hours. Please do not re-hide the rocks in or outside of the park. Rocks found on April 15 may be kept in addition to the sticker reward.
