Explore our Dark Sky park on your own! On Tuesday nights from dusk to 11 p.m. (beginning April 4th and ending on October 31st), you’re invited to come experience the night sky at your own leisure at Skyline Trail. There are multiple overlooks on the trail to use, or you can stay near the parking lot at the Children's Discovery Area.

Star charts are available at the informational kiosks at the Skyline Trail parking lot or at the visitor center for your use and you can bring your own equipment. Download an app like Stellarium or SkySafari and map the constellations above you using just your phone.

If you purchased park admission earlier in the day, please retain your receipt and place it on your dashboard. If you did not purchase park admission on the same day, then the $5/vehicle fee can be paid at the parking lot self-serve kiosk.

NOTE: This is a self-guided program. Please leave the park by 11 p.m., practice Leave No Trace, and drive home carefully.
