Aug. 18, 2023. 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Experience the lake from a unique perspective on this ranger-guided tour by canoe. We'll paddle along the shoreline of Smith Mountain Lake looking for wildlife on shore, in the air, and below the surface of the lake. What a relaxing way to spend a summer day!

Space is limited, so pre-registration is required at our Visitor Center. Registration closes the day before tour at 4 p.m. This program is for ages 6 and older and costs $5 per participant.

Please wear shoes that stay on feet (for safety reasons NO flip-flops allowed). Snack, water, hat, and sunscreen recommended. Optional: insect repellent, binoculars, cameras.
