First Day Hikes- The Family Friendly 4 Senses Scavenger Hike

Jan. 1, 2024. 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

The 4 Senses Scavenger Hunt Hike will take us out to Wortman Pond, and around the picnic shelter area. Along the way we will learn how animals use their senses for survival and see if we can use our senses to fill in our scavenger hunt card. We will start at the main parking lot near the pollinator garden, then end near the Nature Play Area.

Go Take a Hike! The goal of First Day Hikes is to inspire healthy New Year’s resolutions and encourage everyone to get outside. Sweet Run’s almost 11 miles of hiking trails will be open for you to enjoy on your own or join us for one of our two naturalist led hikes. Please be prepared for weather. Pack water and wear sturdy shoes. Cameras, and binoculars are encouraged.
