Take a Walk on the Wild Side with this monthly series of true nature walks!

Each month, park volunteers and members of the Northern Neck Master Naturalists will share a variety of natural history topics, point out aspects of the park's many habitats (ideal for plant and animal life viewing), and provide participants with nature-photography tips should they need assistance. A list of monthly topics can be found below.

The walks will be conducted at a leisurely pace to allow stops along the way. Hikes will be no more than 2 miles round trip, but may occasionally go off trail. Please wear appropriate footwear and dress for forecasted weather. Group size is limited, pre-registration is requested. For more information or to register, please call the park at 804-462-5030.
