Virginia's earliest and most delicate woodland wildflowers are finally here! Come enjoy them during their brief but brilliant display. Take a morning stroll with a Virginia Master Naturalist to enjoy the anticipated arrival of these tiny spring ephemerals. You'll learn how to identify each unique species and understand the special role they play in the life cycle of the forest ecosystem.

The walk is about 1.5 miles long and at an easy pace. If you'd like to participate in identifying the flowers using an app, we recommend downloading the Seek app by iNaturalist.
