Tree Planting- 8am - 11 am
Join us in giving back to the Earth. We need your help to plant tree saplings at Leesylvania State Park. Please meet in front of the Main Office. All supplies will be provided. This event needs 15 volunteers. Sign up below using Sign-up Genius or by calling the Visitor Center at 703-583-6904.
Shoreline Cleanup- 9am- 12 pm
Spend Earth Day giving back to your park's shoreline. Join rangers and other volunteers at Leesylvania State Park and help clean up our beaches and shoreline. All supplies will be provided. Meet at the visitor center to pick up supplies. No registration required.
Be sure to dress for the weather. We ask that you wear closed toed shoes and long pants. Don't forget your reusable water bottle and be prepared to get a little dirty.
