Muddy March - The month of March is famous for its unpredictability. A big reason is the weather, and we as Virginians know, a spring season in Virginia can look different every day. This can affect our soil pretty drastically. This March, we want to focus on our friends beneath our feet and how we can help each other out. Join a Ranger in discovering what calls the mud in the park its home.

Cost is $3/child, with ages 3 and under free of charge. Parking fees are waived. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes for hiking. Pack a picnic and enjoy the park afterwards. Programs run from 10-11:30 a.m. and 1-2:30 p.m.

For more information, please email Rebecca.Whalen@dcr.virginia.gov. Reservations are required for planning purposes and can be made HERE. Only register the participants for the class and please enter their age and total number attending in the comment box.
