The rabbits are coming out, the eggs are rolling in; Spring is in the air, so let the hunt begin!

Join the rangers of Widewater at our 4th annual Spring Celebration on Sat., March 30th. All ages are encouraged to participate in the Egg-lympics games and children between the ages of 2-12 years old are welcome to fill their baskets in one of the two egg hunts! Make sure to bring your baskets!

10:30am- Morning Egg Hunt: 2-6 years old

11:15am- Bunny Hop Race

11:45am- Egg Toss

12:30pm- Afternoon Egg Hunt: 7-12 years old

1:00pm- "Simon Says" Egg Balancing

1:30pm- Golden Egg Winner Announcement

This event and its' activities are free; daily parking fees still apply per vehicle.

Due to limited supplies, it is necessary for parents to sign up their children for either of the egg hunts here. Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the egg hunt of choice so that you can check in at the Visitor Center.

Along with the Egg-lympics, you can take a guess at how many jelly beans fill our Golden Egg inside the Visitor's Center with a chance to win the egg, as well as a one-time, free entry pass to Widewater State Park!

In the case of inclement weather, the event reschedule date is Saturday, April 6th from 10am-2pm.
