When
May 26, 2024. 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Pasture Pals is a special program at Chippokes, where guests are introduced to and able to spend quality time with our ambassador farm animals. Have you ever wondered exactly why donkeys have such long ears? Why do pigs roll around in the mud?
We promise to teach you all about the animals who live here and call Chippokes their home.
Please be warned in-advance that spending time with these animals (to include a donkey, milking devon cow, billy goat, dominique chickens, silver rabbit, and pot belly pig) is known to lower blood pressure, decrease stress, and increase dopamine levels.
If you think Pasture Pals is a program for you, please meet us at the Farm & Forestry Museum parking lot. Our programming begins promptly at the scheduled start time, if you don't see us in the pasture, be sure to check around the Farm & Forestry Museum for a gathered group.
